Honda later redesigned the affected VTC parts and relabeled as R5A as resolution. But all this time only issued internal memo to discredit as many as possible cars requiring this 8th gen vs. 9th gen Accord. My 07 Accord VP (5sp I4) is up to 250k miles, so I'm looking for a replacement. I purchased it at 100k miles and it's been a great car - good mileage, comfortable, decent performance for an I4 and no problems. Plus, it handles decent and is fun to drive! lvGt3qA.
