Silent Aug 4, 2016 @ 2:42am. Without downgrading and installing GInput, you should be able to do so by setting Controller Mode to Joypad in Controls Setup - but then, the mouse becomes unusable. As far as I'm aware, there is no win-win solution w/out GInput, unless you go back and forth to the menus every time you want to switch from controller
Lock-on aiming in possible in GTA SA on pc. Pause the game, go to options, choose controller options, you'll see the configuration. Change it from mouse+keys to joypad (remember that ps2 uses a joypad in laying its controls). You can still use everything but the mouse for camera controls. Turning the camera is placed on the NUM controls 2,4,6,8 Usually gets it to work. 1. [deleted] • 11 yr. ago. Okay, what you've got to do to get the mouse working is launch the game, hit CTl-ALT-DELETE, open task manager, go to the processes tab, find GTASA.exe and right click on it, choose set affinity and set it to CPU 0 only. I guess San Andreas was never meant to run on a multi-core processor. 3. Joined: 11/29/2008. Posted May 27, 2009 (edited) I've been having a very annoying glitch lately where sometimes the camera won't move after I've been to the main menu. The only way I've found to fix it is to hit esc and resume over and over which can take a few tries or several minutes, and it could just happen again next time I go to the menu. The problem I had (and assume he has the same or similar) is that when you move the mouse the camera does not move at all in game. For me, I could move the cursor in the pause menu but clicking did not respond. The fix I suggested is not a mod. It does not allow you to move the camera in car, it just gets the game to recognize the mouse.
every time you enter the game press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and select processes find gta_sa right clic it and choose set affinity, then you only want to enable CPU0 press ok and your done :) #10 ebbebb09
