When I open device manager, there is no bluetooth option. Other recommendations relate to having buetooth devices. I do not have any devices, the only thing I have is the dongle and it is plugged into the computer. It used to work until I updated to windows 10. I am not sure what I could do. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!
Hi, Please open Device Manager and see if the Bluetooth device is recognized. If yes, right click on it and select Update driver. If Windows cannot find the driver for that device, you can select Details tab in the device properties to confirm the provider and check for drivers in the provider's site. Step 3: Pair the Controller With Your PC. Click on the “Add device” button in the “Devices” section, then follow the on-screen prompts. ©History-Computer.com. With the Bluetooth & devices window still open on your PC and your Xbox controller in pairing mode, click on Add device. So DS4 works fine on my laptop with Windows 11 Pro. But thats because the PS4 Controller uses bluetooth. Also my Nvidia Shield controller works just fine on my laptop, yet again because of bluetooth. But as I said, my PC has no bluetooth. And the problem is that Windows doesn't detect both controllers, Device Manager doesn't create entries in HID. If you couldn't find it to download, go to Device Manager and select the Bluetooth device, right click, and click update. Alternatively, after removing the Bluetooth driver, let windows find the driver for you (within Windows Update) Here's what I've tried: Updated BT from device manager, restarted. Deleted BT driver, downloaded from DellShut down computer. Unplug power cord on back (for laptop, remove the battery) Hold down power button for 15-20 seconds. Plug back in and power up. Success! Not sure why it works, but sometime power-cycling is just what's needed to clear the capacitors. pinmacher.glijjby.
